KARATAŞ GROUP OF COMPANIES PLANNED FIRE DRILL WAS CARRIED OUT.

The planned drill organized every year by Karataş Group of Companies was held this year.

Before the drill, Karataş Group of Companies employees were informed about what to do in case of fire and earthquake, first aid and emergency evacuation. After the information, all personnel started to evacuate the building with the sound of sirens. According to the scenario, the personnel who fainted in panic during the fire in the factory were removed from the building by rescue and health teams after their interventions.
After the evacuation process was completed in a short time, all personnel gathered in the emergency area.

In the drill that was just like the real thing, the teams were also given practical training on how to intervene in a fire with fire extinguishers. The fire lit in an empty area was first extinguished by the trainer and then by the company employees. During the drill, the personnel were given practical information about what to do in case of a large and small-scale fire. The personnel, who were informed about fire types, extinguishing techniques and extinguishers, practiced using fire extinguishers in turn.
